Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing neighborhood. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for administering the nursing program to maintain standards of resident care and advising medical staff, department heads, and executive directors on matters related to nursing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the planning, implementing, and evaluation of the nursing care for residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Collaborate with medical staff and department heads to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor and report on resident care outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing nursing team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of five years' clinical experience in the field of geriatric healthcare.
- Minimum of two years' management/supervisory experience in long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of principles of nursing care, and Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities.
