Key Responsibilities
  • Interprets testing schedules, work orders, manuals, performance specifications, and schematics to establish testing methodologies and necessary equipment.
  • Assesses the functional performance of components under specific environmental conditions, including temperature variations, vibrations, pressure changes, and humidity levels.
  • Calibrates testing instruments in accordance with specified guidelines.
  • Connects components to testing apparatus.
  • Monitors dials and digital displays that reflect electronic properties such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, and capacitance.
  • Compares outcomes with specifications and documents test data or illustrates results on graphs.
  • Evaluates test findings on defective components to ascertain the root cause of failures.
  • Maintains both manual and computerized records of production and inspection data.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Proficient in reading and understanding basic instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Capable of composing simple correspondence and effectively presenting information in individual and small group settings.
  • Skilled in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various measurement units, utilizing whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Competent in calculating rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as interpreting bar graphs.
Compensation and Benefits

Knowles Corporation is dedicated to offering a competitive and equitable total compensation package for all employees. The starting salary for this position is projected to be between $17.00 and $19.00, with individual compensation influenced by factors such as prior experience, acquired skills, cost of living in the designated work area, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers within the organization.
