USPI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care and support during surgical procedures, including positioning patients, prepping patients, and circulating cases.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a perioperative setting, preferably in a critical care or PACU environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
