Job Overview

Kentech Consulting Inc. is a leading provider of background screening services, and we are seeking a skilled Investigative Analyst to join our team. As an Investigative Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our investigative processes and delivering top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct impartial, fact-based pre-employment investigations to ensure the integrity of our clients' hiring processes.
  • Review municipal government agency applications and identify important information to support our investigations.
  • Develop strategies to obtain clear and concise information from various sources, including public records and online databases.
  • Conduct criminal checks and civil lawsuit checks to identify potential risks and liabilities.
  • Prepare lists to organize the flow of background checks and ensure efficient processing.
  • Edit reports for grammar and content to ensure high-quality results.
  • Maintain consistent communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualifications
  • College degree in a relevant field, such as Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal, Journalism, or Political Science.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an office environment, preferably in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to pass security clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or already have one.
