The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a Tier 1 national research university, seeks an exceptional faculty member to fill a tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to our vibrant academic community and engage in interdisciplinary research applications including smart edge devices and edge AI, AI/ML for security and reliability, cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and human-computer interaction.

The University is located on a beautiful ocean-side campus in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, offering a world-class education to over 9,300 undergraduate and graduate students each year. Our College of Engineering comprises six departments, with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department being one of the largest and most respected in New England.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual who can develop a nationally recognized, externally funded research program focused on computer engineering; implement inclusive teaching approaches to ensure student success; advise undergraduate and graduate students; and contribute to university service. Strong candidates will have research experience in computer engineering or a related field and teaching experience in higher education. Postdoctoral research in an interdisciplinary setting is a plus.
