Job Summary:

The Bilingual Clinician will be responsible for conducting mental health assessments, providing individual and group counseling services, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mental health assessments and provide individual and group counseling services to children and families
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized service plans
  • Provide crisis intervention services and screen for human trafficking concerns
  • Regularly review and modify individual service plans to ensure consistent progress and success
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned foster parents and conduct visits at their homes
  • Provide safety assessments, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as needed
  • Continually monitor the mental well-being of children in care and arrange for appropriate services as needed
  • Collaborate with other staff and stakeholders to utilize a child welfare best practice approach for the care of minors within a trauma-informed framework
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work with clinical experience in the program and must be licensed or eligible for licensure
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience and must be licensed or eligible for licensure (if the state does not offer a license for bachelor degrees, this is not an option)
  • Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours with a possibility of being on call on nights/weekends
  • Ability to organize, navigate, and physically escort youth to various travel destinations
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle in good working order, and insurance with $100,000/$300,000 limits
  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required to serve the children and families
