About the Role

Mestek Machinery is a leading manufacturer of metal forming solutions for the HVAC industry, and we're seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to identify proper parts and components.
  • Use electrical instruments such as multimeters and amp meters to test and measure electrical systems.
  • Build electrical consoles by viewing electrical layouts and diagrams.
  • Drill and punch boxes for conduit installation.
  • Make conduit and flex runs, and fasten them in place using welding clamps or drilling and tapping.
  • Perform control and power wiring, including soldering and welding.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and ladder logic to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Perform machine and facility repairs and installations, including bending and installing EMT/rigid conduits.
  • Organize prints and layouts, and layout box locations, drill, and tap frames, or weld box bars in their proper location.
Requirements
  • Knowledge or prior electrical experience, including knowledge of machine processes, logic, and ladder diagrams.
  • Ability to read blueprints and operate a fork truck.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and work at heights up to 35 feet.
