Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Maternal Newborn Travel Nurse RN to join our team. As a Maternal Newborn Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in Maternal Newborn nursing required.
  • Previous travel experience preferred.
  • Must have experience with GYN patients, antepartum patients, and mother-baby/postpartum care.
  • C- EFM preferred.
Unit Information
  • Postpartum beds: 37 adults and 30 babies.
  • Births per day/month/year: 1,417 deliveries.
  • AWHONN guidelines for ratios: Yes, 1:6 mix of patient populations.
