As an Operations Support Specialist I within our controlled access mail screening facility, you will play a crucial role in a collaborative team focused on the secure sorting, screening, and management of various mail types. This entry-level role provides extensive training to equip you with the skills necessary for tasks related to mail screening, logistics, and operational assistance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accountability for incoming and outgoing mail items
  • Conduct visual inspections of mail for any unusual stains or substances
  • Receive, categorize, and screen incoming mail in accordance with established protocols
  • Execute x-ray screening processes
  • Perform housekeeping and logistical tasks as required
  • Service and maintain operational equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in secure mail operations or related fields
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Physical capability to lift and transport up to 40 lbs over a distance of 25 yards
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • All candidates must fulfill annual training requirements as stipulated by company policies. U.S. Citizenship is required.
