Cook III Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cook III to join our culinary team at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
