You will collaborate with senior engineering team members to assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM), designs, data management, and reporting. Your contributions will be vital in achieving engineering objectives focused on product precision and enhancement. Additionally, you will support cross-functional teams in their efforts to improve manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in engineering projects by identifying and executing assigned engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering leads and various departments within Hussmann.
- Manage multiple engineering projects related to new or existing products, emphasizing engineering tasks.
- Develop a fundamental understanding of the needs and impacts of other business functions.
- Engage with immediate and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration.
- Provide insights and guidance to cross-functional departments to meet product specifications and expectations.
- Offer solutions for known customer challenges.
- Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing errors through standardized processes.
- Acquire a basic understanding of engineering BOM and design processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 0 - 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
