Position Responsibilities:

The Golf Sales Associate plays a vital role in fostering a store culture that aligns with the values of Worldwide Golf, including the customer-first philosophy. Key responsibilities include:
  • Stay informed about all golf products, including terminology, promotional offers, and demo merchandise.
  • Assess customer needs, utilizing knowledge of golf equipment features to recommend suitable products.
  • Guide customers through our product offerings, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Operate golf simulation and launch monitor equipment to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist with store organization, merchandising, and maintaining cleanliness to meet company standards.
  • Utilize computer systems to check merchandise availability, request stock, and conduct inventory checks.
  • Once fully trained, identify and propose improvements to operational processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the store during shifts, with physical tasks including bending, lifting (up to 15 pounds), and reaching.
  • Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, inventory management, and online order systems.
  • Flexibility to work various hours and days as business needs arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background knowledge in golf is essential.
  • Experience in the golf industry is advantageous, though entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is $20.00, in addition to a commission structure ranging from 1.75% to 6%, depending on department and product specifics. Individual starting rates may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
