About the Role

As a CT Technologist PRN at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate technologist to join our team, working on a per diem basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Use AdventHealth's CT protocols and policies to ensure proper patient identification and exam completion.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Operate CT scanners, injectors, and monitors safely and properly, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
  • Review and repeat images as necessary to ensure the best possible results.
  • Utilize the hospital's computer system to order, change, and cancel exams according to protocol.
  • Assist with data collection for KPIs and Six Sigma projects, contributing to the department's goals.
Requirements
  • Florida State License - General Radiographer
  • ARRT - R certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Preferred qualifications: AS or BS degree in Radiological Technology, prior CT experience on GE CT scanners, and ARRT - CT certification
