Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Yuma, Arizona.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art facility. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images to diagnose medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, to produce high-quality images.
- Analyze images to diagnose medical conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
- One to three years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
