Job Title: Medical Unit Registered Nurse

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Medical Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Grandview Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a Medical Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with various medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses certification is highly desirable.
