About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Resilience Water team in Western NY. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside senior-level engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality water and wastewater treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop construction documents and technical specifications for water and wastewater treatment plants, stormwater systems, and distribution/collection systems.
  • Provide engineering services during construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and other project documentation.
  • Mentor entry-level engineers and support the work of others.
  • Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 2 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or an MBA.
  • EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 4 years of progressively responsible experience.
  • Active participation in regional and national professional associations.
