Job Title: Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist

At Grandview Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient education, support, and interventions to various cardiac populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient education and support to cardiac patients
  • Develop and maintain rapport with patients and caregivers via phone and/or video communication
  • Assess and evaluate patient data and needs, providing appropriate support
  • Notify physician and other care agencies of changes in patient condition or status
  • Identify the need for and recommend appropriate disciplines and community resources
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing and currently licensed as an RN in the State of Alabama
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through either AHA or American Red Cross
  • Critical care or home health experience preferred
