Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hygienist to join our team at Covington Family Dentistry. As a Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings and hygiene procedures
- Take x-rays and intraoral photos to aid in diagnosis
- Schedule patients and manage dental charts
- Develop and present treatment plans to patients
- Collaborate with Dentists on treatment recommendations and assist as needed
- Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Perform administrative tasks, including answering phones and managing supplies
- Associate's degree from an ADA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental patient management software
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
