The IT Intern role at IEWCUSSupports the organization's technical infrastructure by providing help desk support to end users across the organization. This includes hardware, software, and telephone system issues. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively under pressure. Key responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for users on hardware and software Help Desk issues, receiving and troubleshooting user help desk calls, and maintaining pc images and updates. The successful candidate will also have a strong technical understanding and be able to make recommendations regarding hardware and software to meet identified business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware and Software Support: Provide help desk support to end users on hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot user help desk calls and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • PC Images and Updates: Maintain pc images and updates and deploy them when necessary.
  • Technical Recommendations: Make recommendations regarding hardware and software to meet identified business needs.

Requirements:

  • Preferred Qualifications: Preferred college student actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or an associate's degree in Information Technology.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding and ability to work in a Windows environment.
  • Soft Skills: Highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of working under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
