Job Title: Certified Medical AssistantJob Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our GI team at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of healthcare to patients, maintain clinical records, and perform a wide range of patient care activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of healthcare to patients
  • Maintain clinical records and documentation
  • Perform patient care activities, including vital signs and preparation for exams
  • Accommodate medical staff and patients
  • Make decisions consistent with clinic policies and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited MA program or three years of equivalence in medical background and experience
  • Previous healthcare experience beneficial
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required or must be obtained within six months of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
