We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology or related field.
  • Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Registered or eligible for CT certification by the ARRT or equivalent within the first year after the start of employment.
  • Advanced CT certification required within 12 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiography experience.
