- Evaluate episodic illnesses and develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to manage chronic and episodic medical needs.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assessment activities, including record reviews and outcome measurement.
- Provide education and training to residents, caregivers, and staff on relevant topics.
- Enhance professional growth and self-development through participation in research activities and educational programs.
- Masters Degree in Nursing required, with a focus on Gerontology or a related field.
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
- National Certification as a Geriatric, Adult, or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Four years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a preference for experience in geriatric care.
