United Methodist Communities is a leading provider of senior care services in Ocean City, NJ, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Dining Server to join our team at The Shores, our Senior Care Community.

Job Summary:

The Dining Server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience through the entire meal service, including order taking, salad, soup, beverage, and dessert dish up, clearing between courses, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a strong ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe food service by adhering to proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and storing food properly.
  • Process table orders in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the dining service program by participating in catering, events, and retail activities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) months of experience as a waitress/waiter is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $16.30/hour, plus premium Saturday and Sunday incentive of $1.50 per hour, and shift differentials of $1.00 for 2nd shift and $2.00 for 3rd shift.

Shift Differentials: 2nd shift = $1.00, 3rd shift = $2.00

Premium Incentive: $1.50 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays
