Adventist Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Pico Rivera, California.
Job Summary:As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information.
- Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT).
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice (required in CA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred in CA and OR).
