Job Summary:
The Lead Registered Nurse is a key role in our Neuroscience Specialty Clinic, responsible for both lead responsibilities and clinic RN duties. As a clinic RN, you will perform assessments, planning, intervention, coordination, and evaluation of patient care. You will also support routine patient care needs by serving as a key reference and support for medications, treatment questions, insurance authorizations, and other clinic support roles as needed.
Lead Responsibilities:
- Assist in clinical operations, oversight, and implementation of processes to support optimal clinic functioning.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to RNs and other clinical staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a licensed nursing program.
- Maintains current nursing license in the State of Ohio with completion of CNE requirements.
- Prior experience in an ambulatory healthcare facility preferred.
- Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
- Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
- Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
- CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
