Job Description

**Industrial Blueprint Drawing Instructor - Adjunct Position**

Ranger College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Industrial Blueprint Drawing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction to students in the field of industrial maintenance technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the skills necessary to read and interpret industrial control prints, blueprints, and schematics, as well as instructing them on the use of CAD software and other industry-standard tools.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students and align with industry standards.
  • Provide instruction on industrial control prints, blueprints, and schematics, including reading and interpreting diagrams.
  • Teach students how to use CAD software and other industry-standard tools to produce AutoCad drawings.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support program goals and student success.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • Mastery of skill in industrial control prints, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, cooperative, and dependable.
  • Great communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Previous teaching or training experience in a technical field.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift moderate weights of materials, equipment, and supplies.
