Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As an MRI technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, communicating effectively with patients and medical staff, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans accurately and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain the MRI suite, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Administer contrast materials as prescribed by a physician or in accordance with approved Radiology protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with organizational, affiliate, and departmental changes, updates, and policies.
  • Provide clinical instruction and guidance to staff technologists and students as needed.
Requirements
  • ARRT registered in Radiology and ARRT MRI registered within one year of hire, or ARMRIT-American Registry of MRI certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in database management.
  • Mathematical skills and data entry abilities.
Work Environment

This is a Weekend Shift position at Baptist Hospital, Department 15207123 Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Our vision is to transform healthcare for the benefit of the communities we serve.
