Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and/or assist in performing ultrasound procedures, following physician orders and ensuring all studies meet established standards.
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, vascular, obstetrics and gynecology, superficial structures, neonatal brains, intraoperative and guidance procedures.
  • Assist physicians in performing designated procedures, ensuring all studies meet the standards of the Radiologist or performing Physician.
  • Provide patient education and support during exams, promoting a calming influence throughout the study.
  • Maintain equipment and perform quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and medical physicist standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology or current ARDMS license.
  • Eligibility for ARDMS or ARRT registry in ultrasound, to be completed within 12 months of hire date.
  • Cheyenne Regional RQI within 14 calendar days of start date.
