At Full Bloom, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate 1:1 Aide to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a 1:1 Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a variety of educational settings nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs, promoting academic, emotional, and social growth.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational experience.
- Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a 1:1 aide or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
