Spirits Connoisseur

We are seeking a highly skilled Spirits Steward to join our team at The Red Wagon Shoppe. As a Spirits Steward, you will be responsible for supervising the liquor list and assisting in its maintenance. You will be comfortable discussing, buying, and serving all types of spirits, and will be able to provide recommendations to customers based on their tastes.

• Greet guests and provide exceptional customer service
• Describe spirits, distilling techniques, and history to customers
• Suggest and sell spirits to customers
• Conduct guided tours and answer questions from customers
• Handle routine POS transactions, including operating the cash register and processing returns and discounts
• Stay current on spirits knowledge and be able to multitask

• Proficient in English
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Purchasing Manager or Bartender
• Supervisory knowledge in running a shift or managing and servicing a large service bar
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding revenue targets, service standards, and guest satisfaction results
• Above industry average knowledge of beverage and wine products
