Nurse Practitioner

Villanova University is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Student Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to our students, working collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, administering medications, and providing education to students on health-related topics. You will work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring that our students receive the best possible care.

• Assess patients and develop care plans to meet their individual needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by our medical staff
• Provide education to students on health-related topics, including disease prevention and management
• Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience
• Experience with Phlebotomy, administration of immunizations, medications, allergy injections, and nebulizer treatments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and administrative management skills

• BSN preferred
• Experience in emergency department, family practice, or college health center
• Experience using electronic medical records

This part-time position works 10-hour shifts, including weekends. You will be working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing care to students in a variety of settings.
