We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Physician to join our team at the New York Harbor-Brooklyn VA Medical Center. As a key member of our Anesthesiology Service, you will provide a broad range of anesthesiology interventions to Veterans receiving care at the VAMC.
Responsibilities- Direct perioperative anesthetic care to patients
- Conduct preoperative assessments
- Administer and monitor anesthetics during surgery
- Provide post-anesthesia care
- Deliver anesthetic care for general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, ophthalmology, diabetic foot, and oral surgery in various settings
- Participate in program planning, objectives, policies, and standards essential to delivering quality anesthetic care
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Annual performance bonus up to $15K per year
- Guaranteed salary increases
- One full and unrestricted license from any US State is permissible to work at VA
- CME: $1,000 per year stipend and 5 days paid absence for conferences
