About the Role

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The MRI Technician ensures patient comfort and safety during MRI scans, collaborating with the MRI Technician team for optimal imaging results.

Job Details
  • Salary: $2,782.20 / week
  • Location: Riverhead, New York
  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days/week
  • Duration: 91 Days
Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI scans, providing clear instructions and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Document procedures accurately, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
  • ARRT (MRI)
  • BLS Certifications
  • Two years of recent MRI Technician experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
