Job Overview:

The primary role of the Armed Security Officer is to ensure a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting activities at the assigned site, safeguarding client property and personnel, and conducting regular patrols to identify any irregularities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report incidents at the assigned location, ensuring the safety and security of all assets.
  • Conduct routine patrols to identify any irregularities and inspect security systems and fire safety equipment.
  • Maintain order and enforce site regulations for personnel, visitors, and property.
  • Control access to the facility through proper admittance procedures.
  • Perform foot or vehicle patrols to check for unsafe conditions, security breaches, and unauthorized individuals.
  • Secure evidence or scenes in the event of incidents or emergencies.
  • Respond to various emergencies, including fire, medical, and hazardous material incidents.
  • Prepare necessary logs and reports as required.

Qualifications:

Armed candidates must possess the following:

  • Guard Card*
  • Firearm Permit*
  • Baton Permit
  • Pepper Spray

Additional requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Reliable communication and transportation
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions in various formats
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor in challenging situations
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment
  • Competence in writing routine correspondence, including logs and reports
  • Good organizational skills
