Job Overview

This role involves performing firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services with considerable difficulty in protecting life and property as a firefighter and first responder.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $26.089 per hour, with the potential for overtime pay. Additionally, eligible employees may receive state training incentives, uniform allowances, education and certification incentives, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services with consideration for public safety and well-being.
  2. Maintain fire station equipment, tools, and apparatus to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
  3. Serve the community through various tasks and projects assigned by the Fire Chief or designee.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Be between 19-34 years old at application deadline date.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Meet certain physical requirements, including strength and ability to lift, carry, climb, and perform manual labor under adverse conditions.
  • Pass a background investigation, polygraph test, and pre-employment screenings, including psychological suitability screening examination and medical examination.
