Hard Surface Floor Technician

Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining, restoring, and operating industrial floor care equipment. This role requires knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and the ability to use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures is necessary.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs. is required.
