Holesaw Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Holesaw Operator to join our team at Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. in East Long Meadow, MA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating nitrogen forming furnaces, robotic and semi-auto tig welders, and other equipment to produce high-quality holesaws.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate nitrogen forming furnaces, robotic and semi-auto tig welders, and other equipment to produce high-quality holesaws.
• Inspect and test holesaws for quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and report any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies to the Foreman.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• Ability to use numbers, including decimals.
• Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, or pulling 5-25 pounds.
