Job Summary

This position is responsible for the preparation of right-of-way plats, plans, legal descriptions, and related documents and drawings concerned with land acquisition and condemnation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Surveyor, Transportation, Construction, and Program teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare right-of-way plats, plans, and legal descriptions for land acquisition and condemnation projects.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of plats and plans prepared by other teams.
  • Collaborate with the Surveyor, Transportation, Construction, and Program teams to ensure project completion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including landowners, contractors, and government agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in land surveying, right-of-way preparation, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
