Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Service Professional to join our team at Lenox Hill Radiology. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients visiting our facilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and registering patients with a friendly and service-oriented demeanor
  • Obtaining or verifying proper insurance and patient information, collecting signatures, and ensuring accuracy and completion of necessary documentation
  • Collecting and logging all co-pays and fees
  • Answering and transferring incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling new or current patients, confirming appointments, and notifying staff of changes when necessary
  • Providing patients with clear orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, as well as directions to facilities if needed

Requirements for this role include:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service
  • Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $25.00 per hour and a flexible schedule that includes mornings, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
