Job Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will:
1. Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and experience.
2. Deliver and coordinate patient-centered care across various healthcare settings.
3. Engage in comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with established protocols.

Unit Description:
The 3CE unit is a 38-bed facility that caters to a diverse patient population requiring telemetry monitoring for medical, surgical, or cardiac-related conditions, as well as ventilator support. Our Magnet-designated, level 1 trauma, teaching hospital provides an excellent nursing culture and opportunities to work with complex medical cases, fostering professional growth.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
- Be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Illinois RN license.
- Hold a BSN (preferred) or an ADN with a commitment to complete a BSN within four years.
- Have a minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or stepdown units.
- Maintain current AHA CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Be willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:
This role involves potential exposure to hazardous conditions while providing care to patients. Candidates must be able to assist in patient evacuations during emergencies and handle potentially infectious materials.
