Job Summary

As a skilled Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients for CT procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort, and administering contrast agents as required. You will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. In addition, you will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and ensure accurate diagnosis. If you have a strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and ensure accurate diagnosis

Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in CT
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging
  • State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
