Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the furnace by skimming and removing dross materials.
  • Maintain the filter and tap areas to guarantee the casting lines are prepared for operation at designated intervals.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks to uphold furnace functionality.
  • Consistently shovel and stack products as required.
  • Report any maintenance concerns or damages to the leadership team.
  • Conduct sampling of aluminum alloys and related components.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by the Casting Lead or Plant Manager.

Job Requirements:
  • Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  • Pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Successfully complete a hair follicle drug test.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Exhibit strong communication and comprehension skills.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in operating forklifts and heavy machinery.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and pull weights ranging from 35 to 50 pounds.

Reporting Structure:
  • Reports to the Nevada Plant Manager or CASS Furnace Production Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $30.00 per hour
