Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian II to join our team at Diamond Jo Worth Casino. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, and restrooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including but not limited to: hallways, lobbies, stairways, and restrooms.
  • Perform detail work, high dusting, carpet care, and floor care to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests and employees.
  • Operate cleaning machines, including vacuum cleaners, brooms, and shampoo machines, to maintain the cleanliness of our facilities.
  • Empty and clean cigarette butts and ash trays, collect glassware, bottles, and cans, and wipe and dust slot machines, slot banks, and slot chairs.
  • Responsible for property clean up, including bio-chemical material, and ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work independently without direct supervision.
Requirements
  • Minimum age 18.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year cleaning experience preferred; knowledge of carpet and floor care, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
