Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Behaviorist at Northridge School District.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Deliver clinical services for referred patients in both school and clinic environments.
- Provide consultation to local schools and agencies.
- Manage treatment and care coordination for mental health concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Develop and implement integrated wellness plans aligned with client self-management principles.
- Facilitate behavioral interventions and crisis management.
- Collaborate with agency staff and community service providers to ensure seamless referrals and service delivery, including discharge planning.
- Offer training and patient education strategies, creating tailored behavioral change plans and protocols.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain thorough medical records, including patient histories, physical exams, and communication summaries.
- Complete necessary progress notes and special patient forms.
- Engage in health improvement activities and committee participation.

Qualifications:
- Active master's degree in social work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling required.
- Graduation from an accredited social work or counseling program.
- Preferred two years of experience working with underserved populations and community-based initiatives.
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
