Job Description

This role requires an experienced occupational therapist to provide comprehensive services in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to multiple priorities and tasks. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs, using evidence-based practices and principles
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective care transitions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Provide clear and concise communication and education to patients and families about treatment plans and progress, fostering open dialogue and trust
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data and implementing process improvements to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy (Master's degree preferred)
• 5 years of experience in acute care or a specialized area of occupational therapy
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and adaptability skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
