About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners. As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation services to our patients in the Macon, GA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans that promote patient-centered care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Current certification in the state of Georgia.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, as well as OSHA and infection control regulations.
  • Experience in treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
