We are seeking a skilled MDS Coordinator to join our team at AHC Northside LLC in Murfreesboro, TN.
Job Summary
The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, recording, and updating Minimum Data Set documentation for Medicare patients, ensuring compliance with state regulations and other authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulate and maintain the MDS/PPS program and completion schedule.
- Develop and coordinate nursing care plans from MDS/RUG category.
- Analyze assessment data independently for complex patient problems and identify early subtle changes that formulate RUG categories and affect patient care.
- Evaluate effectiveness of nursing care plans and update MDS/RAI process with completion guidelines.
- Promptly respond to emergency calls with appropriate intervention.
- Provide care to patients, including administration of treatments, medications, social, and emotional support.
Requirements
- RN License or LPN License Required.
- MDS Experience Required.
- Experience in Long-Term Care Preferred.
