Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Martinsville Speedway. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance and condition of our grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, and groundskeeping.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, facilities, and mechanical equipment.
  • Assist with custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities.
  • Operate and maintain various equipment, including power mowers, edgers, and hand tools.
  • Participate in general cleaning, painting, and repair work as needed.
  • Perform routine plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains and fixing leaks.
  • Assist with electrical repairs, including changing light bulbs and repairing ballast and light fixtures.
  • Assemble and move furniture, hang pictures, and set up and tear down chairs, tables, and equipment in meeting rooms and function rooms.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office suite preferred.
