  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday. If preferred, locum candidates may engage in afternoon clinic sessions, potentially 1-5 days per week, managing a patient volume of 6-7 per half day.
  • Support team includes a full rehabilitation unit staff comprising physical, occupational, and speech therapists, along with social workers, rehabilitation nurses, and neuropsychology support. The facility is conveniently connected to a clinic for easy access to consultants.
  • Common patient conditions include stroke, orthopedic trauma, brain injuries, and non-traumatic spinal issues.
  • The unit team boasts extensive experience, achieving high patient satisfaction scores (95%) and demonstrating favorable outcomes with an average length of stay of 14 days.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
  • Patient admissions are required.
  • Utilization of EMR: Cerner.
  • Assigned patient load per shift: 7 - 8.
  • Facility capacity: 10 beds.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility is mandatory.
  • Completion of a fellowship is required.
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS are essential.
  • Facility operates at Trauma Level II.
