Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at Travelers Insurance. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced software solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using MERN Stack technology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably with MERN Stack technology
  • Strong understanding of Java/Springboot and public cloud (AWS) experience a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
